Question:

Help a novice! How do I get a great sound system in my car?

Hello!

I've recently got in to my music and love the old school rock and heavy metal. In my car at present I just have the standard CD player and speakers.

I want to be able to play my music at premium quality and LOUD- not zooming through the town at 2am with a boy-racer exhaust, but loud enough to feel the power when I am cruising home from work on the motorway and along the country lanes without disturbing anyone else.

I've seen many people who have installed sound systems and they look horrible, there's bits of plyboard everywhere and parts can detract from boot space or even the rear seats!

I want to remain practical, so my sound system must look as if it's meant to be in the car- I do not want to sacrifice the spre wheel or passenger space.

Is this possible? I know nothing about audio equipment, but a friend has suggested speakers in the front, something called 6x9s in the rear doors and a subwoofer tucked away somewhere?

Any help welcome!

you can get much information in this website, kindly stay a minute in website and check anyone link at a time, and you can aslo get your question answer in Google Search in this website, which has already helped me very much.

  2. Best new(ish) stereo I've seen recently is the Parrot rk8200.  It lets you connect an ipod, accessing it's menus from the screen on the unit, it has an SD card slot for built in storage.  It's also bluetooth phone enabled, so when a call comes through it cuts your music and runs your call through your speakers.

If my next car has a single din slot, it's the one I'll be getting.

  3. Kenwood is good. Get a good about 150 quid for clear sound. As long as you get good 6x9 's that is all you should need.

    JVC are also pretty good.
