  1. That has happened to me many times. It is not that you are weak, you just need a tighter grip.  It took me a while to get it right, but you will. I promise.

  2. ~Experience

~Hit a lot of tennis balls. as much as you can.

~If all else fails, try getting a tacky overgrip. might not be what your looking for but the tackier the better.

~Don't really grip the racquet until right before you hit it. start your backswing holding loosly and as your coming through the ball, grip tighter and tighter and as you hit the ball you really have to be holding really tightly.

    good luck

  3. Dont worry you will get better.

  4. I'm not going to say that you are too weak.  Those were your words.  It wouldn't hurt to strenthen your grip, though.  Just squeeze a tennis ball as hard as you can 100 times, every day.  It's a quick little exercise, but you'll be surprised by how much you feel it.

It could also just be a concentration thing.  When you play, concentrate on keeping your grip on the racquet.  You still have to keep an eye on the ball and such, but just have part of your mind on not letting the handle slip.  Onc you get that in your mind, you can stop thinking about it and it will just happen.

  5. Try to Hold the racquet so that the lowest part of your hand is roughly flush with the bottom of the handle. Choking up on the handle defeats the intended balance of the racquet and causes the end of the handle to hit your wrist on serves. Trying to get a little more reach by having half of your hand off the handle leaves you with too little control of the racquet.

If that doesn't help here is a good web site that may have some advice.
