Help about AP chem and AP bio

I am planning to take AP chem in sophomore year (already got bio and chem)

and AP bio in junior year

Should i take both?? if I shouldn't, what should i take instead

  1. I would recommend taking them, if you think you can handle them. AP chem is more math, AP bio more memorization.

    I would definately recommend AP World History! It may get you up to 6 college credits, and it's important to take many different types of AP classes.


  2. They're both very different courses. Both are challenging and beneficial. I thought AP Chem was harder than AP Bio. I took AP Chem my Junior Year and AP Bio my senior year. The biology and chemistry you already took were much much much easier compared to the APs ... just be ready for a lot of work, reading, memorizing and math. Take both, just separate years.

  3. Yes, you should take both. If it is possible, I would suggest that you take AP bio sophomore year and AP chem junior year for two reasons.

    1. AP bio is easier that AP chem

    2. AP chem requires more math than AP bio, so the later you take it, the better.
