Help about AVI codecs?

Okay i`ve looked at the K-Lite-blah blah blah thingy and it seems like a little too much..i'd like to just download a codec thats simple,like you leave it alone and then ur problem is solved.can some1 just list a link for me?anti virus plz..o and my problem is-

windows media player only plays sounds,and you can't see the video

windows vista if it matters.

  1. Well, Windows Vista is pretty buggy compared to Windows XP and it takes up a lot more system resources than XP! I personally think Vista sucks compared to XP! The only good thing about Windows Vista is the look, but other than that it sucks! I would use XP instead!!


  2. K-lite is your best option. It's not that hard or too much, just go to the site and it's only a few clicks away (all the options are pre-set, no worries).

    But if you absolutely don't want K-lite (for whatever reason, it's one of the best), then here's one: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/AVI_...

    I'm telling you though, K-lite is your best option: virus free, cost free, and it has code for everything.
