The Final Release of Ubuntu 8.10 ' Intrepid Ibex' is due the end of October. Alpha 4 has just been released and for an early development Alpha its surprisingly stable so pop it on a spare Hard Drive if you have one and enjoy, however I DO NOT recommend you run it as your main distro. yet as these are still early days.
