  1. This cage can house up to 6 pairs of birds safely. As far as winter goes you can wrap their cage with plastic or tarps. If you want some heat in their cage you can buy heated perches for them.Love birds love to fly and this cage is great size just make sure the cage is built from non presser treated wood. The chemicals that they use will kill the birds if they chew on it.Love birds are big gnawers. They will chew on any thing,so make sure they have clean perches to chew on. If you partion it off you can house other birds in the other end.Just make sure you NEVER put any other bird species with love birds, they will kill them.i hoped this has helped.

  2. its never to big

  3. Umm KONA K this is NOT about dogs. For the cage size,i think it is quite good.

  4. If you want to keep the birds as aviary birds, then it's perfect. In fact, you can keep a colony of up to six lovebirds in a cage that size. But if you want to keep pet lovebirds, first of all, a pair of lovebirds will have a hard time becoming pets, and yes, a cage that size is way too big for a pet lovebird -- the bird will fly away from you and will be out of your control.

Regardless of how you want to keep your birds, keep researching and make sure that they're safe from predators, dangers etc. Search "bird-safe" on Wikipedia to find more about bird safety.

  5. As long as you do not want these birds as tame pets, the size is okay.  Leaving them outside is another issue.  Will they be protected from predators?

Also, what happened to the birds formerly in the cage?  If they died there may be germ/viruses that will kill the new birds.
