im getting so annoyed with this! i use head + shoulders for greasy hair, and i wash my hair twice with shampoo and only put conditioner on the ends and the rest of my hair is perfectly fine but my fringe is still greasy! whats up with this? no other product touches my hair.

literally soon after it dries its greasy! but the rest of my hair seems fine.

i have dry shampoo, but i dont want to rely on it all the time.

i used to wash my hair once with shampoo but twice seems to make it nicer. and ive used alot of shampoo's + conditioners..

please help!

  1. Try and leave your hair as long as possible without washing it. Your hair will soon get used to the time inbetween between washes and stop producing as much grease. Also try not to touch your fringe as the grease from your hands get into your hair and it also stimulates your scalp to produce it. Also in before you get out of the shower/bath blast your hair with cold water for a few seconds. It seals the pores on the scalp

  2. Don't use hot water to wash it, just lukewarm, as hot water makes the sebaceous glands work even more, so hair gets even greasier.

For a quick fix, there's Batiste dry shampoo (can get it a superdrugs or boots), it's a real old school stuff, but works!

  3. change your shampoo and conditioner, i used head+shoulders and my hair went greasy too!

  4. Try not to put conditioner on your fringe. Praps you could blow dry your fringe? i have to blow dry my hair because if i leave it dry naturally it just goes greasy as soon as it drys. i think its conditioner :/

    Hope i helped xx
