Help about eye makeup for small eyes.

Okay, I'm half asian and (of course) I happen to have small korean eyes. Everytime I wear eyeliner and/or eyeshadow it makes my eyes look even smaller. So usually I just wear mascara but I think it would be nice once in a while to wear some eyemakeup.

Anyone have tips to make my eyes look bigger? Or maybe I should just stay away from the heavy makeup.

Cream colored eyeliner makes your eyes look wider (it's actually a stage makeup trick, but use a cream color instead of bright white).  Also, you can dab some shimmery white shadow on the inside corners of your eyes to make them seem more open.

1.line your lower lid with white eyeliner.it helps to make them wider.

2.use earth tone makeup.

3.use a lengthening mascara to help opens up the eyes and make them bigger.

4.grooming your brows can help. just don't overdue it.use a tweezer to clean up stray hair.

5.only line top lid. never line both top and bottom lid at the same time

-Apply a light shade on the upper eye lid and a darker shade on the crease.

-Use eyeliner only on the outer rim of the eyelids, not the inner rim.  Remember to blend.

-False eyelashes will really make your eyes look bigger.  You can buy them at Sally Beauty Supply for $3.  Make sure you buy ones that look natural.  You can also buy them at Sephora and Walmart.

-Curl your eyelashes.

-Apply two coats of black mascara.  Try the M.A.C blacksplash splashproof lash mascara.  It's waterproof, cruelty free, and $12.  

-Lining your eyes all the way around will make them look smaller.

-Use a white or gold pencil on the inner part of the eyelid.  Try the Urban Decay 24/7 glide-on eye pencil eyeliner in yeyo (white) or honey (gold) and zero (black).  You can buy them at Sephora for $16.  They're waterproof, cruelty free, and have moisturizing ingredients.

-When choosing colors, use shades opposite your eye color. Contrast really makes the eyes stand out.

Here's what you do: I have normal sized eyes and im puerto rican. But my friend is korean and she has this cool trick that makeup artists do.

You buy white eyeliner and put it on the top inner lid and bottom inner lid of your eye so it looks bigger and will look really pretty especially on you because you are just half asian and she is full asian and it makes a huge difference. You will look pretty with that. :) You can find it on Sephora™
