Question:

Help!!!! all new me for school ?

Okay well im13 years old and weight 158lbs im going to the 8th grade and have a whole year to lost weight before highschool i wanna lost 40 pounds at least any idea's please help if your going to say something rude just don't answer this question. Thanks

  1. Losing weight can be SO MUCH FUN ! Just going to the scale and seeing that you've lost weight is a great feeling!! You should first work on your eating habits. How about 3 healthy plates a day. That's best. You can go on google and look up some healthy foods and then figure out what can be put together in a meal. Set a goal each week. How much do you want to weigh each week? And then lower it every week. Once you notice you're losing a nice amount of weight, start working out. Jogging, situps, pushups...you want to lose the fat no matter how much weight you've lost. Keep being motivated and you will get there.. DON'T starve yourself if you get depressed, and DON'T over eat ! Good luck!

You don't have a lot to lose but since you are starting dieting early in life, I'd ask a parent to sign you up with weight watchers.  You will learn so much that you may never need to lose weight in the future since you are so nice and young still.  They would be the best to teach you new habits plus they make you feel great each week you lose weight.

  3. Try to join extracurricular activities at your school like volleyball, basketball or cheerleading. On top of the exercise, maintain as healthy of a diet as possible. Finally, try to do something physical every night. GOOD LUCK!

  4. Well if I were you I'd do the obvious, and cut down on (most) snacks. Of course you can't live with some candy or whatever now and then. But just not to much! Also I'd go join a gym. If you join it with a friend or a sister or cousin you can let them drag you to the gym if you don't feel like it ;) otherwise you might end up not going at all.

    What ever you do, you must never scip a meal!

    Also if a gym is to expencive, why not dance on your favorite music half an hour? or go walk outside for a change?

    My guess is that if you don't eat many snacks and sport or work out a little, that you'll lose it in no time.

  5. if you like snacking you can split up your three big meals into smaller sizes throughout the day so you aren't tempted to eat things you shouldn't. never miss breakfast.. watch portion sizes. i end up buying those microwavable dinners so i know exactly what size and how much i am eating... also veggie burgers are awesome because they're so low in calories but packed with vitamins. i swear they don't taste as bad as everyone thinks
