Help? anyone else go through this? what do you think?

am 22, my husband and I have been TTC for 2 yrs. But I have very irregular periods, I have 2 a yr if I am lucky, and very heavy. I went to a doc 2 find out why. She said maybe its PCOS because my testosterone levels are too high. So she suggested BC to regulate me. Every month for 3 months I had a period on the 18 and ended the 23..(every month!) I decided to come off it to try and get preggo. I ovulated july 14th(even tho I was due for a period the 18th. I had s*x all the way through until the 19th unprotected starting at july 10th. I never got my period the 18th. I am peeing a lot, sleeping till 1 pm(NEVER do that) I am sometimes moody kind of emotional, but never have swollen b*****s. eye twitching all the time, cramping, not severe, just minor,some constipation, some diarriah, i took a dollar store test 11 dpo but it was neg,... maybe its too soon.... what do you all think? could I be preggo? or am I just a mess?

I also made an appt with a new dr! an OBGYN for august 4th,

if you ovulated on the 14th, you probably shouldn't expect your period any sooner than 10 days from then.  A woman's luteal phase (time from ovulation until first day of your period) is generally anywhere from 10-16 days (average is 14) and rarley changes.  So if you ovulate late, your period will be late.  It's best if you understand how long your luteal phase is.  If you still haven't gotten your period by Aug 1st, I would test again then.  The problem I'm having with this is..... if your doctor THINKS it's PCOS why isn't she doing more to diagnose  you?  I don't know all that is involved with diagnosing it but I'm sure it's just more than a testosterone test!!  I'm glad you are seeing a new Dr, maybe things will be cleared up for you and you'll be well on your way TTC!!!  Good luck hun and tons of sticky baby dust!!

Hello if your period was due on the 18th and you took a test and it came up neg. I would retest be sure to use first morning urine. And you really need to find out if you have PCOS or not so you can get that taken care of and you won't have a hard time getting pregnant. I also have PCOS and I have 2 kids so it's not impossible.
