Help bad toothache possibly abscess what should i do?

Tried to get into dentist for 2 days. Can't get in until mon. Horrible pain, had bump that popped with green pus,and face slightly swollen. Also, some neck pain. Should I tough it out until monday or go to ER.

Call your dentist again and tell them its an EMERGENCY!!! theyll most likely arrange an appointment for you later on in the day but if they cant then go to the er as soon as possible!! It sounds to me like you have an tooth abscess and if left untreated the swelling will get worst and the infection will spread. The ER will probably give you antibiotics through a seringe and then you will need to continue taking antibiotics tablets for about a week afterwards. Also, if you still have that horrible pain take some Panadol or Nurofen.

An infection in your head....near your brain....infection circulating through your blood stream..... GET OFF YA AND GO NOW!!

hi i work as a dental assistant first off its good it popped to let it drain the infection out also the tooth below it will most likley have to come out if you go in there when your appointment is they are only going to put u on antibiotics and you will then have to go back to get the tooth out , go into the dentist and say to the person at the front desk i need a script for antibiotics , so you can get the tooth pulled out on your actual appointment we do that or people at our surgery all the time

Best if you can locate an emergency dental place or call a local dentist for an emergency number on their answering machine. Some dentists will respond to call-outs on weekends and holidays - at an increased cost of course!
