  1. I had the same problem but i went all the way 2 new heights with my mean teacher .Just go back don't say a thing ask your mom or dad to get you a privet teacher if you have enough $

  2. tell her that you are not progressign as well as you will like and you want to challenge yourself. since she was so good to you you should still keep in touch with her. By the way there might even be no need to go to your old teacher if you ask your new teacher to be more challenging. My ballet teacher is nice but she is def not easy.

  3. Ok. Don't keep going back and forth. Tell her this: You're one of my favorite teachers, but I need some harsher criticism. I'll come back and visit you, I promise. Then go back to your Russian teacher, and DON'T cry when he criticizes you. I have a really tough Russian teacher to, and every time he tells me that I have 2 left feet, or should just go back to the amateur studios, I fix whatever I'm doing wrong, and show him that I'm better then he thinks. I'm one of his best dancers now, and he's proud to have me in the Nutcracker, and recitals. Smile!! :)

  4. I went through a similar situation, but u have to tell her especially if u want to be pro. Tell her that even though u luv going there you feel that your not leraning as much as u did with the russian.

  5. Tell her that you feel like you are not progressing as much as you would like. Your goal is to be pro and therefore you need a strict teacher that will teach you to push yourself. I'm sure she will understand. If she doesn't though, just leave. She can't make you stay.

    Hope this helps!!

    =)
