  1. keets are sexually mature at 10 months. if it was a baby he would not be weaned and away from his mother. most birds are sold 9mo to 1 year old in pet stores.

millet spray diet is so incredibly unhealthy for it. no wonder it has diarrhea. if the diarrhea does not stop your bird will become dehydrated and die. it will also die from malnutrition.

it we be equivalent to humans eating nothing but cheese poofs and water for our whole lives.

you ought to take it to a qualified avian vet and get educated about proper diet and how to wean your bird off of seeds & onto a pellet diet. also have the vet give you materials on basic care, and signs of illness that require a vet's attention.

you can't just take away his junk food he has to be weaned off of it and also get treated for the diarreah and malnutrition he is suffering from. he will most likely need supplimental injections to get nutrition back into his body and he will need antibiotics. you have alot of adjustments to make for that bird to live a long healthy life.

  2. i got a new budgie 2 years ago it may just be unsettled

the best way is to take the millet out of its cage and it will become hungry and have to eat the seed what it is giving it will eat if it has to if it doesnt eat after a day put it back in

  3. hes just not used to his, food yet, Mix the millet with the seed and eventually by mistake he should eat the seeds and possibly like it, take the millet seeds off the stick though, IN to wjhat look like seeds.
