Question:

Help buying a budgie?

I have a budgie and I have had it for nearly a year and I went to this breeder and got a budgie for my grad present and we also got like a "deformed" budgie for free because he didn't really want it because he couldn't breed it so we had three budgies and one day we came back from the store and my dad held the door open while everyone brought in the groceries and my budgie somehow got out of his cage and flew out the door we looked for days until we had to leave for a vacation so my question is should we tell the breeder we lost the budgie or should we just tell him we are getting another one? If we tell him we lost it I am worried he won't let us purchase another one from him. He seemed nice last time we went two months ago.

  1. he prob understands, alot of birds get loose and its not the owners fault, goodluck and check out http://www.parrotcentral.net/parakeets.h... for good budgie info

  2. tell the breeder he  got out of his cage somehow it happens its not ur fault   some breeders may give you a new one for free  but he will sell you a new one good luck

  3. Tell him one got away. Him sure that he's lost a few in his days also. I have seen 3 of mine get out of jail free over the years and I thought my cages were Alcatraz evasion free.

  4. He sold you a deformed budgie for the sake of it being no use to him.

So he is obviously not caring enough of a breeder to care whether you lost that bird, or not.

    Go ahead & tell him!

  5. well i guess tell him that some how the bird got out of the cage and flew away i mean it wasn't your fault just tell him it was an accident and hopefully he will forgive you.....

    hope i helped!

  6. why do you have to tel the breeder anything?
