Help buying kitesurfing gear

Gidday flyers..

Ive been outta the loop for 5 years from kitesurfing. I want to upgrade my 2002 kitesurfing gear.

I am an intermediate rider, and want equipment to suit an intermediate/advanced rider. Can you help recommend gear...?

Wanna try and keep the costs down as much as possible, so with this in mind, (wont be able to afford 2008 or 2009 models):

What are popular models from the different manufacturers from 2006/07?

Hello:

Their is excellent gear out there now. Brands to look for ,could be Best,Slingshot,Liquid Force,Cabrihna..

Maybe try to find a person that likes to get new gear every year and that his taking good care of it.

I would recomend SLE model, Bow Kite maybe because it is very user friendly.  These kites will give you the advantage of having a smaller quiver do to the better wind range.

You may want to check on your local shops for last year models.

Also check with Best direct,,,some times they have last years models excellent deals.

Now maybe be a good time because 09' models are coming soon !!! So you now what that means.

There are plenty of alternative out there, just take your time and have fun!!!
