Help calling a number in England?

I've tried everything calling UCAS.

this is the number

now I added the international code 011 but it still doesn't work

I tried not including the zero in parenthesis, didn't work

I've tried everything! what the heck am I supposed to do.

If you're calling from abroad you have to dial 00448714680468. If calling from UK you dial 08714680468.

International code is 0044 not 11.

try 0044 871 4680468 you will get success with that because the dialling code for England from outside the UK to the UK is 0044.

u probably cant get thru on this no as ur calling from outside uk if u look on their website www.http://www.ucas.ac.uk and click on contact us at the top it gives a no for calling from outside uk of [phone].so i would try using the country code for uk ie whatever u dial for abroad then 44 then 870 and the rest of the number, as the 0 is in brackets looks like u shouldnt dial that but try both ways if it doesnt work without the 0. however they do say they are only open mon-fri 0830-1800.  its 1.30am sat morning here at the mo so u wont be able to get them till 8.30 on monday morning. hope u get thru. good luck

if your calling from a mobile? are you sure the mobile works abroad?

do you have to activate the card first?

0871 number is like 900 number in USA or Canada.

Calls to 0871 numbers cost 10p per minute at any time - you

can not call 0871 number from outside of UK.

Just dialled it from outside the UK. From a mobile you must add the + sign So it's [phone] or 00448714680468
