These all have good ratings and I like them ALL but can only choose one...which one do you think is best?

I will be mostly shooting my 1yr. old growing up and our house is kind of low light.

I had a JVC Everio GZ-27 and HATED it, so please help!

  1. I don't want to confuse things but I have a Canon DC 50 DVD camcorder and I have never looked back, it takes DVDs that I can play in my DVD player it takes photos that I can print, all this at the flip of a switch.

    Have a look.

  2. Go with the HV20. Although it's design is not so pretty, it is a "beast" in the sense that it looks like a monster, but it's powerful. You will not regret the HV20 when you see what it can produce for you.

Go on www.vimeo.com and search for "Rainy Day." A boy shot this with a mostly "naked" HV20 (no major adapters), and it looks beautiful for an amateur using a home camcorder. Also look for "Brevis on Ice" to find the use of a DOF adapter on a HV20.
