Help.............can't find a job

Live an indian ocean country,been in tourism for 13 years,I'm no expert but i know how to deliver good service and the people I serve are always move with the way I care for them during their holiday and make them feel special and spoilt.I resign from my job as a man colleague was being disrespectful,I miss work and can't find another.I've send 10 application and two months no answer,have I miss anything?

you should try a recruitment agency. i was ages waiting on a job until i went to them and they got me a job within a day. you should give them a shot.

the once i found a job by flicking through the yellow pages and phoning factory numbers, but i dont know what career path you are choosing so it might be a different case.

Have you updated your resume? How old are you? Nowadays, Age are of a factors that most boss considered when hiring an employees.

You coud try going to all the travel agents / holiday camps / resorts in your area personnaly and ask them for a job - prepare a good CV, and a good intro speach and just ask if they have a position for a good and friendly worker. Most will not, but you could get lucky and find that a few of them were just about to advertised and are happy to give you an interview.

Be prepared for quite a bit of rejection (as they won't have too much space), but you have nothing to loose and being there in person might get them more motivated than having to read a CV/letter at a busy time of the year. Good luck.

Try to get some connections! get it from your friends or some one who is close to you. If you send an application and still haven't received any phone calls, CALL THEM BACK or send them a letter saying that you are interested in the job that you are applying for. It is one of the important keys to get a job. They will appreciate that and you will get a job interview for sure!

You just need to be positive! Don't give up! Your hard work will pay off :)
