I think I may have both. My left eye is 1/5 green and the rest is brown, and my right eye is hazel/amber, and I think I may have a green eye freckle, can an eye doctor see this in a normal eye examination?

  1. Well, actually , you should ASK about things you have questions for with anything that has to do with your health. that way you have an opinion from the expert you are PAYING to get advice from. Never just leave it up to them!

  2. Yes, he can see if he's looking.  It's pretty common so I generally don't mention it unless there appears to be something significant to your ocular health.  Freckles of any sort need to be monitored to check for unwelcome changes, so have your eyes examined once a year.  Ask your doctor about your particular case if you want to know how involved it is.

  3. The doctor would see it, but as it is just normal colour variation is unlikely to have mentioned it to you.  It is not an eye disease.
