  1. i agree with the others, your friend's dog is lonely. i have two chihuahua mixes (and now a little baby chi <33) and they don't ever like be left alone with no one around, they are always in need of someones attention! they cry and cry and cry whenever we leave the house. and if we leave for longer periods of time they can become a bit destructive of furniture or anything they can get their paws on. basically, chihuahuas aren't meant to be solitary, they need you around.

  2. sleeping inside a shed is not a big deal, it's like a big dog house.

but leaving the dog alone is making him be depressed so his owner is not really meeting the dog's needs.

the dog needs to be with someone that'll love him.

Dogs know when you love them.

all that mess around could be stopped if they spend some time playing  and training him

  3. I have had so many chihuahua, threw out my life, as they make wonderful pets... But the most important things is there small and they are lap dogs who need alot of love and they like to sleep under blankets. being alone outside is only making the dog worse, crying and feeling scared if your friend loves this dog and he knows he cant have it in the house than by all means fine a loving home because these dogs dont do well outside and lefted alone, they are like kids they need alot of love and not to be placed outdoors!!!!

  4. Chihuajuas are really indoor dogs, they love to be with their owners, not in a shed out back.  If you put them outside and not too much attention theyll go crazy.  and maybe its bored,  no toys, bones to chew on, etc.

  5. I think that hes in need of way more holding and cuddling the reason he rips up his pads is because he wants you to notice him! its a primitive way of getting attention even babies do it!
