Thanks. Just wanted to ad I bought the Kicker on ebay. The price was pretty good, hope the seller is honest.

  1. You want to get an amp that is rated at 400 watts RMS @ 2 ohms.Your best bet would be to find a mono amp...they are cheaper and dont get as hot.So an mono amp that is 400 x 1 @ 2 ohms...you will parallel the 2 jackhammers to create a overall 2 ohm load.this amp is a great choice

  2. Look for something that macthes the woofers RMS at the proper impedance and that is CEA COMPLIANT.

    Being cea compliant means the amp has been tested and DOES put out the power it states!

    Try looking at the rockford fosgate mono punch 325.1 it says 325rms @ 2-ohm but cea specs are 404RMS@2-ohm I own this amp and it powers my two 150RMS 10's well, very well.

  4. sorry to say, may be too late, you should have went ported for them....a properly made and tuned ported box will always outperform a sealed. a ported box will hit harder and lower.
