Help choosing pool table?

I want to get a pool table in my house and the only room where my mom is willing to put one is 9x11 feet. what size table should I get? what is the normal size? and what are good affordable brands? (maybe under $1,500) thanks!

Go to the Brunswick site, they actually have a chart that tells you the required room for each type of table.  In a 9 x 11 room you will be taxed to use even a 7 foot table.  Every thought about a bumper pool table, they double for a great game and / or poker table and with the chairs will run you about what you want to spend.

  3. if i was you get a 7 ft by 3 1/2 ft. its a good table to learn and its the standerd bar room pool table size. i had one as a younger kid and it taught me well., and on brand look at valley great quality for a cheap price!

  4. The smallest table you can conceivably find is 6'x3', and those aren't made by good brands. Even if you used 48" long cues (which would suck) you'd still need a room that was at least 14'x11'. Sorry man, I think you're out of luck until you move.
