I am on the high school golf team, and my coach says its time for me to find a ball and stick with it. I'm not a very big guy only about 140 lbs so i dont hit the ball far, just straight. My handicap is 10-20 on these windy (usually 15-30 mph) oklahoma courses. My driver is Adams Insight BUL 10* driver. I hit it about 200-250 yds on average. I also average about 29 putts a round this year. Any help?

  1. I find its a personal preference , I play with Nike balls and some Calloway's  . I find depending on the weather , temp on which ball I play. During the winter months (here in Texas ) I will even play with a Noodle.

  2. I play a Bridgestone e5. Sounds like you should go with something like it.

  3. There is a common misconception that you should pick a ball based on how you drive the ball.  This is due in large part to commercials for golfballs just showing guys driving.  The type of golf ball is much more important for the short game.  If your an aggressive type player who gambles, choose a ball that has a little more spin to it vs.  a softer ball that gives a little more roll.
