I would like to know how I can get rid of the mildew stains in my bathtub? The glue that is used to bind the tiles and tub to the wall are all stained.

It isn't that lovely moving out of a brand new apartment to an older house =( I NEED ALL THE HELP I CAN GET!

  1. Whatever you do, don't use any sort of metal to scrape or scour the tiles.  You'll leave nasty marks on the tile.  You could try using one of those handy bleach pens that are sold. If not available, dilute some chlorine bleach in a spray bottle with some water.  Either way, you need to get the grout soaked with the bleach, and it should kill it all off.

  2. Use a scraper remove old Caulk completely, Then purchase a tube of bathroom Caulk in white an re-Caulk all around tub let dry overnight an your done! like brand new an water sealed.

  3. i had toscrub mine with a toothbrush toothpaste and oxyclean mixed together will get ANYTHING out.. im so serious

  4. here's some bathroom cleaning tips.. it might help you...

  5. brillo pads!!!!

Not just for the kitchen anymore!!!

  6. If the caulking is mildewed, you'll have to replace it.  Make sure to use mildew resistant caulking specifically for bathrooms (because obviously the last person did not).  Good luck and don't worry, you'll adjust eventually (after you get everything the way you want it).

  7. buy some grout cleaner
