Help connecting speakers?

I have 2 DCM speakers, and I have tried going from one of the speaker's positive terminal, to the other speaker's negative, then the others to the receiver, but there was no sound. I believe that I tried it in series, and in parallel. Does that kind of connection only work for ceiling speakers?

  1. Each speaker should have 2 cables (red & black)

They each need to plug into the back of the amplifier which should have a left and right speaker output and red/black for each.

You should not connect the speakers to one another.

It's worth looking up daisy-chaining which is a method of linking speakers but I can't tell you too much about that.

  2. first of all make you answer as clear as u can...what speakers are u talking about...computer speakers? in case you are.. then you will find two cables with these speakers...you will have to make it  a single. i mean convert this into on switch...
