Help...control panel is missing?

My computer got attacked by a virus or trojan or something today and I ran AVG and Spybot and Adaware and now that is all gone and it's fine. However; I noticed when I go to my Start menu that the Control panel is completely gone. How do I get that back? Please help. Thanks!

I don't want to do a system restore if possible since I have already cleaned everything up.

  1. RightClick Start Menu, click Properties, click Advanced.  Control Panel should be the first option, click Display As a Link.


  2. Right click the Start button -> choose Properties

    Go to the Start Menu tab

    Click Customize

    Go to the Advanced tab

    From there you will be able to choose how the Control Panel shows up.
