Help convincing my dad let me be on the football team?

last year i asked my dad if i could be on the coed flag football team at my school. He told me no but i think i have more hope this year i just dont know how to say it. Can someone please help me????

There are many reasons why he is saying no, your safety, your recent grades, or you may be an agressive person where he is concerned about the safety of others.  If he feels you are not strong enough offer his participation in a less aggressive sport first and prove to him there that you have what it takes.  Peter..

Talk to him in a nice calm manner and come to an agreement about what goes on an stuff.

Id tell him you are interested in doing extra activities to keep you busy. if he says no ask him why? if he doesn't give you a good reason rebel and do something to upset him for trying to hold you back on something you are interested. that'snot good parenting
