Help dell inpiron 1525? get 10 points?

Question

while I was working on my laptop it suddenly shut down. now windows xp is not loading. I see nothing except dell bios splash screen. i am not able even to format it, it says no hard drive found? what on earth happened to my laptop?? I really need my files. Is there away to get my files back. please help

I've that laptop but windows vista, so i dunno, see dell's customer service!!

It sounds like your Hard Drive crashed... Buy an external hard drive enclosure and follow the instructions... If you aren't to computer knowledgeable take it to an IT Technician and have them replace your HDD and try and retrieve any data on the crashed HDD... It will be costly....
