Help determining the ultimate dorm room theme?

Question

So it is about time to go back to college and this year I am going to deck out my dorm room with some sort of theme, but as the question says, I am unable to come up with one.

So I have come here for help.

These are the sorts of things that I am into to, which could be possible themes, or parts of themes:

-Technology/Modern

-I love movies/tv shows

-Dark Colors

-Astronomy

-Nature

-Sci-Fi

-I have a collection of party lights

I am going to be making the entire room this theme so it must be suited for a whole room, as well be relatively inexpensive and not be inappropriate (d**n strict rules).

I think a good idea that would incorporate a lot of those ideas is to do an old, black-and-white, sci-fi movies theme. Then if you wanted you could always throw in pops of color that you wanted! Plus black-and-white is always easy to do and there are tons of things to choose from, just about anything you could ever want would come in one of those two colors!
