Help dividing polynomials?

I am so confused on this help me work this problem out (^) for exponents

(2x^4 + 9x^3 - x^2 + 6x + 9) by (x^2 - 3x + 1)

  1. Well, because I believe in only helping with math problems and not doing them for the person, I suggest you start by putting each polynomial in division bar format and then, as you probably have learned, subtract the bottom exponents from the top exponents and divide any numbers that you can and remember to simplify by adding bases with the same exponents...
