Help editing photos?? ?

Ok I liked to edit my pictures but I can't anymore. I use http://picnik.com and my picture are usually around 1 mb in file size, I use my camera set to 5mp. Most of the time after the picture loads it takes 5 min per button push which means it takes over 20 min just to make a few minor changes. Also most of the time it freezes up and I have to either shut down the internet or restrart my computer. I have Firefox if that helps. Anyone know why it might not be working or how I can edit my pictures?? Also I can't edit with programs loaded on my computer either because the same thing happens. I will get part done with my editing and the program will freeze and I will lose my work!! Any ideas what the problem is or how to fix it?? Thanks!!

I would suggest, stop using the method you have been using till now :D

I suggest use Picasa from google..

Install it ( free)

then first batch covert your photos to a jpeg with 80% compression and then edit them with picassa

and then upload them using Picassa only...

does it sound interesting..? it works as well !
