  1. apply presure on the wing and take take it to the vet ,i think they'll understand if u dont have the money

  2. birds have very little blood,  he may have pulled a blood feather out.  this is when a new feather comes in the shaft is full of blood, so if he pull one out it will bleed.  I think you can use qwick stop on the wound, but please call a vet first to make sure it will not hurt the bird.  good luck

  3. try taking a towl and holding him in it and hold the wing in the towl tight so the bleeding will stop if not i don't know what to do....               :o

  4. my parakeet has bled before but you should look at the wound if it looks like he pulled a feather out press a napkin to the wound and it should stop bleeding if it looks like a cut or something deep put a napkin against it and apply slight pressure to his wing not his body or you could hurt him and if that doesnt stop bleeding within a few minutes or more take him to the vet and see what they can do they should take care of him and hopefully it wont cost much because it is a small bird just make sure you do whats best for the bird

  5. First determine where he is bleeding.

    Wing, leg, foot, body,beak,vent, where?

Do you atleast the correct way to safely towel a bird?

IF you do, then towel him and find out where the blood is coming from-if you don't, then don't towel him.

If you do, the place a small clean, white cloth on the spot that is bleeding, apply slight pressure and hold it there for a minute. Then look to see if the bleeding is stopped, if not do it again. ORrrr you can put some corn starch in a small bowl and with your finger's full of corn starch, put it right into the bleeding spot. Wait and watch,if still bleeding add more corn starch ( or flour if you don't have corn starch)

Unless the injury is deep this should work to stop the bleeding.'This bird needs to be seen by a good avian vet.

Run your finger over the cage and toys, feel for any shape edges that could have cut him.

  6. take a paper towel a put it a cover the spot the it bleeding in

  7. ok dont freak. u have to take it to a vet to get it checked. parakeets have small amount of blood. dont worry if u cant pay ! vets always take in injured pets ! wrap him in a towel and rush him to a vet . on the way call the vet and tell them wats wrong so they will be prepared . i hope u 2 will be ok.
