  1. One of your first steps might be to visit the Canadian Embassy in your country to start the process.  Before you go, do spend some time at the Canadian immigration site that other posters have given  you.  Figure out what would be the best route for you to use.  Who has the best qualifications - you or your partner?  See where you would both fit in terms of the sorts of immigrants Canada is looking for.  One of the faster routes might be to try for a provincial nomination, which would mean that you might first have to live in a more rural part of Canada.  If you are in a position to upgrade your skills, do so, as that will help your application process.  Be prepared for it to take some time, as the immigration process is a  lengthy one, often a couple of years, so start the process.   Talk to people at the Canadian embassy.  They will be able to help you.

  3. Immigrating to Canada is quite complex. They work a scoring system to determine who get's a visa and if you don't get the score, you don’t get to go. To get points you have to fill in a questionnaire that asks you about your education, work experience, language skills and if you already have family/friends over there. There are specialised layers that work for people who want to emigrate and most of them have provided dummy test forms on their websites so you can see how you would do on the scoring system. I can't remember any of the sites off hand but if you do a search on the net I'm sure you'll find something to get you started. From what I remember the longer you've been in full time education and the better at speaking French the more points you'll gain. Hope this helps (" ,)

  4. Pls check to see if work in your field is avaiable . And your qualified. Canada has high standards  and you may need more training , Our niece in the Phillipnes  is a doctor. With 10 years schooling . She would need two more years of university.. Canada needs more people   But do your resarch
