Help! euroline or eurorail? 25 and 26 year old. from venice-budapest,1 month in budapest,25 days around europe

we need cheap transport, longer journey its fine (night travel to avoid sleeping in hostel). problem: we will be using the ticket from venice to budapest (if its possible to stop a while in slovenia). and we will use the ticket around europe after one month in pecs, hungary (is it possible to use the ticket that way?) what kind of pass should we use (euroline and eurorail) and what about the point to point ticket? thank you very much for the reply...

we are in milan right now, tonight take the train to rome, take the night train to venice...and then venice to (slovenia) to budapest...

Seriously, Ryanair (Ryanair.com) flies all over Europe, they're awesome, and they're SUPER cheap.  You can't beat it!

You should check out www.interrail.com also. They have reasonable prices too.

It's in hungarian, but you can find a Budapest - Ljubljana for 29 EUR, and also a Budapest - Venice (Velence) also for 29 EUR, for the trip back.

Towards Budapest from Ljubljana, you should check the slovenian rail's prices.
