Help finding a good romance/mystery novel..!?

Question

Hi. I read a lot of novels and I have read a lot of Nora Roberts books, but I cannot seem to find a good romance novel with characters at are in their early-mid twenties, instead the characters are always older.. Any recommendations and I don't want the novels to be young adult either because those are always cheesy.

Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. It is young adult but it's not cheesy like the other young adult books there are. The main characters are 17-20.

Oh, btw/ just saying, Gone, by Michael Grant is one of the best books I have ever read. It's young adult too, but it does NOT have a cheesy happy ending, it does have somewhat gory situations, though,

a good kind of romance/supernatural mystery is City of Bones, i cant remember who wrote it....hope i could have been helpfull
