Help finding work abroad ?

im 16 and would like to go abroad either doing volunteer work or to work. im finding it hard to find a organisation that will do it for my age and who arent expensive any idears?? x

  1. dont think they would take you abroad. why dont u work in your own country?


  2. Prepare to pay a great deal of money -- as an unskilled volunteer, that's the only way you are going to get to volunteer abroad. Someone has to pay to transport you to the country, to transport you in the country, to feed you, to house you, to make sure you are safe (particularly since you are under 18), to supervise you, to handle all of the country's administrative paperwork so you can come to the country and pay all the associated fees, and to train you.

    If you want to become qualified for the PeaceCorps or other programs that don't charge volunteers, you need to start working on your skills. You need to finish a degree of some kind, learn to speak another language, and volunteer locally to gain skills that are needed abroad (HIV/AIDS education, for instance).
