any tips for fishing the green lights at night

just went fishing on a pier i was hesitant on going because the magazine "gulf coast fisherman" stated it was going to be a slack tide and as we all fisherman know there is no game fish on a slack tide,well i decided to try the green submersible light that i had just bought and pretty much try to make the makers of the green light liars,well was i wrong there were no other lights at the pier they were destroyed by hurricane Dolly so i decided to use the green lights and i must tell you i caught fish everything from croakers,blackdrum,redfish,trout and the last one which i caught and got to see but did not land was the biggest trout i had ever seen approx. 3 ft in length i counted my blessings to God that night and to the little green light. by the way fish just in front of the light as for the big monsters they were hiding just where it starts to get dark.happy fishing (green lights do work.)
