Hi everyone,

I have just bought a Peugeot 406 (V) reg 99/2000.The Clarion disc changer is useless and so i have decided to fit a standard sony head unit.I know that i need a fascia plate because of the head unit size difference, but i don't know the exact leads i need as i want to be able to still control the unit with the steering wheel stalks.Someone told me something about a harness and some other lead. Can anyone tell me what the actual required leads are so i can go and purchase them without buying the wrong ones??

Thank you,

jaz100100.

  1. Well, I'm no expert on stereo installation and related matters, but I am in the process of installing my first radio and have done hours of research. The first link below is for Crutchfield's 'Outfit My Car' section. You put in the make and model of your car and some other things and the site will show you what works for you. I recommend buying from somewhere else though - the prices are kind of high though they do give some 'free' stuff. You can also check out www.scosche.com - they have decent prices (at least the same brand in walmart and target does) but the site is not the most user friendly. Happy hunting and good luck!
