Hey, i'm 15 years old boy, about 6'1, and 210 lbs. My friends say they do not consider me to be fat, but just to be big. I was wondering what i can do to get rid of the flab in the front and turn it into abs.

  1. Eat whole grains and get a lot of protein.

My usual menu is something like this:

    Breakfast

    Total Cereal (1 cup)

    Milk 1% (1/2 cup)

2 Slices of Whole Wheat Toast with Grape Jelly

    Lunch

Skinless, Boneless Chicken Breast (1/2 of one)

    Barilla Plus Rotini (6 oz)

Some Juice (Only 100% juice not that "juice drinks")

    1% Cottage Cheese (1/2 cup)

2 Chocolate Chip Cookies (about 2' in diameter)

    Banana

    Dinner

Skinless, Boneless Chicken Breast (1/2 of one)

    Wild Rice (3/4 cup)

    Cottage Cheese (1/2 cup)

    Water

    Snack

    Chocolate Milk 1% (1 cup)

    Chocolate Chip Cookie

    Banana

You don't have to be really strict like that, but try to eat between 2000-2300 calories a day, and exercise for 15 mins at least 4 times a week. For tight abs, do a lot of crunches with dumbells. BTW... hi. I'm also 15 years old 5'9 145 lbs.

  2. There is no instant cure, and fad diets tend not to work because you can't eat like that forever - people will just return to their old habits once they reach their goal weight and end up rebounding to where they were, or near where they were, when they started.

Change your diet, eat healthier, and exercise.  The best way to lose weight is to break your bad eating habits.   Its not easy, but the younger you start, the better your good eating habits, and good exercise habits will stick with you.

    Good luck
