Im fourteen and about to enter grade 9. My former teachers have advised me about choosing a career path , because in grade 10 its supposed to matter. I can overcome obstacles easily , i get things done , and I am efficient. I also like doing written work and communicating. I've always wanted to be a lawyer , or anything in law it fascinates me in a way. But I don't know if i'd be cut out for it. I've also considered studying business. I really know nothing. Please do not say I am too young to think of this as this is a huge weight on my shoulders and i need some mental rest for a bit. PLEASE HELP.

  1. WARNING:   Jobs in the field of Law are drying up FAST!!!  This is not a good field to invest in right now!!!  Reasons:   very bad economy, people now (mistakenly) think they can do their own legal work thanks to the WWWeb, there are way TOO MANY law schools in this country churning out way TOO MANY graduates (and this includes legal support staff).  IF you do graduate, you will have a VERY hard time finding a job.  IF you do find a job, you will find the environment to be very poliitcal and competitive, administrators at law firms typically do not have the employees' best interests in mind.  Also, this field of vocation is VERY time consuming.

Suggestion:  Go into the field of Healthcare <<< LOTS of jobs there!  Especially with a business background.

    Good luck.

  2. sounds like you should be an attorney...and then after that you would be a good judge!!  Take it easy though....life is tricky!
