here some to look for but think about it before u pick them.

Darren Mcfadden RB Raiders- good size and speed but on a horrible team and horrible blocking line.

Jon Stewart RB Panthers- really good power back size. wil be starting rb midway in the season. might get hurt cause he may use his size and not some agility to get by guys.

Joe Flacco QB Ravens- he has the strongest arm out of all the rookie qbs. he is on a good ravens team and has one of the best chances to improve more then matt ryan. only bad thing young wrs and his height he is 6'6

Rashard Mendenhall RB Steelers- nice size and on rb first type team. will get a lot of carries along side parker.

Felix Jones Cowboys- on the best team to grow and develope. has raw talent see if he will use them. good 1,2 combo with barber

James Hardy WR Bills- 6'6 height good weight young team

limas Sweed WR Steelers- at 6'4 is one of the taller wr they have which will help be a nice duo with ward

  1. Personally I wouldnt pick any of the guys you mention. The RBs you mention will go far too high and arent worth the risk to your fantasy roster, Mendenhall would be the only one I would consider as he may be a TD machine in Pitts., they already have established a reluctance to give it to Parker near the goalline. Never, never, ever draft a rookie QB, if they need to start a rookie QB then there should be obvious red flags about the team and Flacco may have the most "ability" but he also comes from a small school, that is a massive step up to overcome as a rookie. Neither of the WR you mention likely get picked in nearly all drafts so why waste a pick when they will be available as free agents you can watch to see if either can break through. History suggests neither will, rookie receivers tend to struggle and it is exceptionally rare to get a fantasy worthy rookie WR.

If you are looking for a rookie to break through who can be had at a reasonable slot in a fantasy draft then you need to look at Kevin Smith (Lions) or Matt Forte (Bears). Both will be given every opportunity to be immediate starters and both teams will feature the run. Also both are pretty tough and capable goalline guys so each will likely get the bulk of scoring opportunities. ANd both will go in the middle rounds of the draft, the only 2 guys worthy of risking a draft slot on at the moment.

  2. I really like Mendenhall and Jones. Both of these guys are going to very good teams. They were both drafted in rd.1 and they will both be utilized in all of the games this year. Mendenhall has the best upside in my opinion. Parker is coming off of a bad fractured leg and if he isn't healed properly Mendenhall may get a start or 2. Also,Parker is not a good short yardage or goal line back but Mendenhall is and he will get a ton of work inside the 5
