i didnt understood the ending

what does the girl do when she goes top

does the player die

why he becomes big (colssus) at last

does it have secret ending

The men were from his tribe.  The player's girlfriend died, so he left the tribe and went to a forbidden land to ask the gods to bring her back.  They made him kill the colossi.  When he did this the land died and the spirit went into him.  After the last one was killed he lost his humanity, turning   into a colossus and attacking the guys who arrived at the last moment.  They were beaten back and left the lands sealing behind the girl and the player.  The player reverts back to a baby.  I'm guessing because he had to be reborn to become a human again.  The girl stays there and raises the guy who was her boyfriend.
