  1. i really would love to know. I live in Northeat Tennessee and i see them at my bird feeder. i am going to star this question and keep checking to see if anyone gives a sure answer!

  2. I think it looks like a Barn Swallow, but I'm no expert

  3. I LIVE IN KY and i live on a farm my wild guess is a  type of sparrow....they are everywhere here lol

  4. Being that gray cheeked thrushes are found mostly in northern canada and alaska, and bear absolutely no resemblance to this bird whatsoever.. I think its safe to assume this bird is not a gray cheeked thrush.

It amazes me that people can't see the clear differences in the pictures they post in comparing birds they "say" are the bird you're asking for an ID on.

The person who said flycatcher was the closest, but I actually believe this is an Eastern Wood-Pewee (which is, I guess you could say, related to the flycatchers) from the forked tail and mild yellow under the bill.

Here are some pictures for comparison

  5. I dont know but it sure is cute!!!

  6. Is it a type of wren? Maybe a juvenile?  I'm not sure. I looked through your photos and you take beautiful pictures of birds. I was wondering how and what type of camera you use. I have tried to capture my hummingbirds when they are in flight and can't seem to get a clear picture. Thank you!

  7. It is a Flycatcher.   Check enature.com for your area and you can see the different species.  They are so cute!!
