  1. wear a Stade Francais shirt ... your sure to get noticed wearing that. They can't exactly miss you anyway :-D

  2. Most importantly play your position well and that means so well you actually stand out from everyone else. This can be achieved if you train well. Two, like everyone else has said, get a haircut that stands out. Maybe a faux-hawk would do. You can dye it with temporary coloured hair spray. Maybe wearing white boots while everyone else is wearing black would do. And wear your socks pulled down low to your ankles like McCaw. Hmmmm.... broad white thigh tape like Piri Weepu? And, maybe it doesn't seem like something you would do, but Ma'a Nonu used to wear make up (eye liner) to the field (like the Undertaker in WWE). People like Nonu and Tana Umaga stand out because of their dreadlocks and of course, their spectacular onfield abilities. Nonu has his dreads streaked in bright yellow and one dread is a dull red. But overall, what's important is you need to be "outstanding" in the position you play. Make big tackles, put up some scoring oppurtunities, score a try, make turnovers break through the defence etc etc etc...

  3. Play BRILLIANTLY

  4. if your from ireland you should really check out munster rugby they have training camps at there home ground in limerick.you should dye your hair the colour of the team your trying for

  5. Wear really really bright colours like neon pink or green or ... yooh get the idea

  6. go naked?

  7. As said on here, make yourself easily identifiable can help, say, pink socks (as suggested), and you also have to be able to play a role and stand out. Say, if you are a fly half, you have to organise your back line appropriately, if you are a winger, you need to show explosiveness and flexibility, a back row needs to make turnovers, a second row needs all out power, a centre who can split a game open by drawing his man, a hooker who throws well and turns over the scrums, a front row who always gets the better of his man, or a scrum half that makes accurate, sharp passes.

  8. just your overall playing ability, you need to stand out from everyone. like for example if you can always create a chance that might lead to a scoring opportunity when you get the ball will help you get noticed. not wearing pink socks tho lol!
