  1. amazing but ok  just tell your mom every women gets it

  2. Babe the only way to avoid this is tell them! Just say exactly what you said here ...

"Mum, I've had my periods for two years now and for some reason I was embarrassed to tell you so I lied. I didn't expect the lie to go on for this long, but I didn't know how to admit it."

They'll mostly probably be a little shocked but it's really not a big deal. Just tell them - it's much less traumatic than being examined by a doctor.

    Good luck x

  3. What are you so embarrassed about? Every girl gets their period... If you have to, to avoid going to the doctor, just tell them that last week was your first period, and you were just a little hesitant to tell them...?

  4. i'm pretty sure they know

cuz my mom knew the moment i got my period, idk how, they just know

maybe they're just waiting for you to be honest with them

i don't think they'll actually take you to the doctor's to find out

you should really just tell them

    don't worry about it :]

  5. Well, you have to comply with the gynecologist if they're going to do an exam. Why on earth have you hidden that you've gotten your period? That's ridiculous, of course they know you've gotten it, it's obvious when it comes every month.

    Wow.

  6. First, take a deep breath and calm down. There thats better. Ok, sounds to me like your mum and sister care about you, so I suggest you go to your mother right now and ask her to come to your room. Close the door and tell her. She's your mum she will understand. There is nothing to worry about or be ashamed of. Its just a period, its a part of life. So go get her, and tell her and get a good nights sleep without the stress. You have a mum and a sister to show you the ropes, you're so lucky. Relax and go ask her to come to your room.

  7. For crying out loud kiddo, just tell your mom you got your period.

Lying and playing this out for longer is just senseless. All girls get it, have it and tell their mum's.

How you have been able to hide for 2 years amazes me.

  8. I was embarrassed to tell my mum too, I dont blame you, but if you dont want to go to the doctors then your just going to have to tell them, maybe tell your sister and she can tell your mum if that makes it easier, they wont be angry at you, just let them know you were too embarassed to tell them, they will understand.

Find the most comphortable way to talk to her, like face  to face, through a letter or text, it doesnt really matter, but as long as you tell her, heres what I do when Im afraid to do something, I plan it out easy as possible, think as positive about it as I can, then just stop thinking about that and think about something really good that is comming up, once youve got that in your mind, then tell her!

    Goodluck! Youl be fine :)

  9. to be honest i dont know how u got away with it.  with not complaining of cramps, bloating, grouchiness, etc.  just tell her ya know? u may get the im so proud thing (son't ask y) but thats it really no big deal

  10. Just tell your mum. I was mortified when I first got mine and then I remembered that my mum would have gone through the same thing and it's natural and part of growing up. I just got her in private and said I think I've started my period. She was fine with it and it's not as if she was gonna laugh at me or something.

I'm just curious, how have you been getting pads or tampons if your mum doesn't know?

  11. calm down telling your mom is no big deal but shell be pissed if she thought you were lying about it for 2 years so tell her you just got it for the first time the next time you get it. and no the doctor cant tell.

  12. yes there are actual tests to find out if there is something wrong with you

and if you don't want to go to the doctor and have them do tests on you then i would tell your mom now

next time she mentions it be like umm.. yeah.. about that.. i've actually had it for like 2 years but i was just too embarrassed to say anything
