Help!?? guy friends!??

school is starting soon and i would like to have more guy friends. i do have guy friends, i guess but not close ones. and i try to make friends with guys but with no success. i talk to them a lot and joke around with them a lot but that doesnt do anything. i always play sports with them in gym and everything but they always give me this look like "i dont want a girl to beat me", so i get the silent treatment kinda. basically i try and make friends with guys the way i do with girls but just a little different. and like i said before, with no success. any tips on how to make more guy friends??

Yeah, boys can be like that. They're very competitive. Why don't you join some clubs you're interested in? That way, you'll have the chance to interact with boys who share the same interests and likes as you. That will make it easier for you to make friends with them.
