Help...has anybody ever had a paranormal expeience?

Ive never had an experience with a ghost until the other night. I opened my front door and glanced up my hallway when i got home from work and in the split second that i looked down the hall i thought i saw a man stepping right at me. It really scared me, and im not one to be scared... even my cat flew back out the front door with me!! Was this a ghost or just me? Has anybody else had an experience with a ghost?

If your cat freaked, it was probably a ghost. I lived in a house that had a suicide years before I moved in and weird stuff happened. My cat always reacted!

It could be a burglar or it could be a gost!!! creepy but then think thats really cool too!!! and it has happened to me i was talking to this person at a coffe shop then my friend came up and was like why are you talking to yourself? then the person disapered!

I've had lots of ghost experiences and you get used to it after a while.  Most of the time they are not even aware of you being there.  Many ghosts are what are known as residual ghosts and they are just a imprint from the past.  Kind of like a video tape playing over and over again.  They never interact you.  If you live in and old building this is likely what you are seeing.  If it ever seems to interact with you then is what is called an intelligent haunting and it is aware of you too.  It's nothing to worry about, I've never run into a ghost that has hurt anyone.  That is just made up stuff for the movies to scare people.

Yes, and it all depends on how you feel about the experoence.

At first we would all be taken aback by your experience.

But, after you sat a while and thought about it.

Was the man scary, interesting, where you more curiouse about him. Did he look lost, confused, needing help?

There are lots of reasons a spirit would allow you to see him.

They are usually not there to scare you, like most people think.

If you felt scared even after you had time to reflect a while,

I would get some sage incents and burn in every room of the house and sat in the haouse and read some favorite bible verses out loud. Also walk thru the house and the hallway you saw him in, and speak out loud that he scared you and you would like him to leave that you are unable to help him.

This will usually take care of most problems.

I have never had an experience with a ghost.  I am not sure if you have either.  I wasn't there, but I think you might have just been misinterpreting what you saw.  That is the most reasonable explanation.  It's possible your cat was reacting to your actions to what you saw as a ghost.

well if nothing has been thrown around or your head isnt doing a 360, then i think your fine.

it might be a protector rather than a predetor ghost.

and yes, i have had paranormal experiances too.

as long as nothing is flying off shelves or hurting you, there shouldnt be anything to worry about. if things get worse, then call in a professional, and then recite a few prayers.

Wow!  Sounds like you must have really been caught off guard. That seems to be how it works for people who dont usually experience such things.  And yes, I can honestly say I have seen ghosts or spirits before. I am no psychic or anything like that, just plain jane regular person.  But for me the way it happens I see them when it has something to do with either someone around me or the building I am in.  So, perhaps you just saw someone who was clinging to an old life in that building.  I really wouldn't worry about it at all.  Doesn't sound as though it even noticed you. What's really freaky is when they look you in the eyes.  Try not to worry!  Best wishes
