  1. you can call the police if you want because you legally own that property, but you should talk to the owner of th apartment complex before you make any action, that is if you not the owner. you might be ****** becuase you didnt draw up a lease or contract, which might cuase so legally issues.but yes talk to a lawyers or call the police.

  2. Do everything in writing to build a paper trail. Contact a lawyer. Give an eviction notice with a reasonable time. Expect damages, so any proof of the apartments condition before you evict may be useful to show malicious damage.

She gave you a bad check, and now won't move...she can't afford to.

  3. Your tenant is a month to month tenant at will, by default. Her tenancy is governed by your states landlord tenant laws.

You are going to have to look up those laws to see how much notice is required to terminate her tenancy. It is usually one full rental term, but can vary by state.

You need to give her proper written notice to terminate her tenancy.

If she does not move out per the notice, then you need to evict her through the courts.

A lawyer will get everything done right the first time. It will cost you $$$ but save you time.

  4. if it is your name on the lease and her name is nowhere in any of the paperwork, go get the law and get her behind out of there.

  5. Yes, evict her. In the absence of a lease it is considered to be a month-to-month tenancy that can be terminated by either party with 30 days notice. You should give her a written demand letter informing her she has 30 days to move out or you will begin eviction proceedings.

  6. Your only option is eviction.
