I play 3-4 hours of tennis a day (monday-friday) and i have a sharp pain in my left shin when i ice it then it feels better then it wears off and hurts again. we have to run 3 laps around the line of nets on the court and it always hurts after that and then ill get home and it will feel like someone is stabbing my shin and ill ice it and it lasts for like an hour then hurts again. I know im supposed to rest but i have to go to each practice cause wwe have a match on thursday (the 21st) so are there like ways to help it heal as i do tennis practice? (like taping or buying a certain brace for it or something) I rest alot on the weekends when theres no practice.

  1. how about you go to the doctor and he or she can help you

  2. I always found they would go away after a while, but that meant weeks of wrapping, icing, and sucking it up. If the pain is to acute for this you should see a doctor as it may be something more severe.
