what do you call it when for example something shocking happens and the song comes on behind it sounding a bit like duh duh duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! sorry if i am not clear but i need to know what type of music it is

I think that is considered as part of the 'special effects' or sound effects.

Ummmmmmmmm....If you mean in a movie then it would be suspense music, or mood music, or the climax.  Or a music when the sound goes suspenseful then goes DUNNNNNNNNN, it is called a crescendo.
